Colby's Bucket Calf

We had a heifer at the feedlot have a calf (unexpectedly) and Colby bought it from his dad and is going to take it to the fair as a bucket calf. We are so proud of him he has been getting up at 6:20 a.m. and feeding his calf by himself (I help prepare milk) before getting on the school bus. He has been very excited about this new project. Mackinze, not so much.

Cade's First Birthday

I can't believe our baby is a year old. Cade started walking at around 11 months and has 2 teeth with 3 coming in on the top. He has been such a good baby and is soo happy. What a blessing he has been to our family.

Sky Trip to Taos New Mexico

Mike and I took the three kids to New Mexico skiing. This was Colby's second time and he caught on quickly and even got on the smaller lift by himself. Mackinze took a little more encouragement but once she tried she did good. The weather and scenery was beautful. On the way home Colby and Mackinze and mom got the flu and boy was that an adventure in the car for 8 hours. GOOD TO GET HOME!!!!!!!!!!

New Years Day

We celebrated New Years Day with Mom and Dad. We are praying for a healthy New Year for both of them. Dad's cancer tests have been positive and they have finally settled in a home they both can enjoy. NO MORE MOVING. I stopped counting at seven moving in and out.

Happy New Year's

Mike and I went to dinner and a movie on New Year's and when we got home we a celebration with the kids. Cade wasn't to thrilled with all the noise.
